12th Alaçatı Herb Festival

Alaçatı, which gives the feeling of wandering inside a dreamlike movie, has been hosting the herb festival organized by Çeşme Municipality since 2010. Hundreds of fresh herbs with unique flavors of Aegean cuisine are introduced and presented to the visitors at the festival.
The 3-4 day event lives up to the word “festival” with its different activities, entertainments, workshops, and other events organized throughout.
The Alaçatı Herb Festival, which enlivens the colorful streets of Alaçatı and provides visitors with useful information and enjoyable experiences, as well as bringing them together with leading names in Turkish gastronomy, hosts thousands of local and foreign visitors every year.

Day 1
At the designated times, we will depart from Istanbul
Day 2
After the breaks on the way, we arrive in Urla in the morning and take a breakfast break. We have a Full Breakfast at a restaurant located by the sea. Then, we pass through Ilıca and reach Çeşme. After our arrival in Çeşme, we start our city tour.
With those who want to join, we see the Çeşme Castle and Kervansaray, which was built in 1528 by Kanuni Sultan Süleyman and still serves as a hotel today. Then, we see the Aquarium House and give free time. We gather again at 11:30 and move to Alaçatı. After a photo break in the Bay of Surf Schools, we arrive in Alaçatı and give you free time until 5:00 pm.
During your free time, you can taste the foods made in the Festival, take your place among the lively crowd in the streets where Albanian cobblestones and narrow Greek and Ottoman architecture blend together, visit the herbal stands of producers, and taste the dishes of famous chefs and the ones made by the participants of the festival at the stands provided by the Festival Committee for a fee.
We gather again where we got off the buses at 5:00 pm and return to our hotel. After checking in, those who want to (extra) can go to the restaurant for dinner at 7:45 pm. We will stay overnight at our hotel.
Day 3
After having breakfast at the hotel, we start our İzmir city tour. The city tour includes İzmir Konak Square, Kordon, Clock Tower, Government Mansion and Elevator.
After the city tour, we have free time for lunch. Then, we continue our journey and make our last stop at Şeytan Sofrası-Ayvalık and Cunda Island.
After having a coffee break at Cunda Island, we come to the end of our tour and head back to Istanbul to meet again in another trip.
